A new chelator to treat liver copper overloads


Some diseases cause the toxic accumulation of copper in the liver, and the present chelators have many side effects. The results obtained by researchers at our laboratory in collaboration with teams from INAC, UJF and Orsay allow to consider that new chelators act as potential drugs against liver intoxications by copper and thus contribute to a new therapeutic approach.​
