In collaboration with researchers from the Biophysics of Oxidative Stress laboratory (DJBC, CEA-Saclay) researchers at our laboratory have succeeded in identifying hydroxide species in the active site of superoxide reductase (SOR) giving new light on the mechanisms of elimination of superoxide radicals, a toxic to the cell.
