An oxidation chemistry more environmental friendly



In order to develop a more respectful environmental chemistry, researchers at our laboratory have developed a photocatalyst combining a chromophore and a catalytic center anabling to use of dioxygen as an oxidant by light activation.​​

In the presence of an electron donor, the light irradiation of the photosensitizer triggers an electron transfer from the chromophore to the catalytic part allowing the activation of the dioxygen
