Overcome platinum in the production and use of hydrogen


Researchers at the Chemistry and Biology of Metals Laboratory, IRAMIS (CEA-Saclay) and LITEN (CEA-Grenoble) have combined nanoscience and bio-inspired chemistry to develop, for the first time, a material capable of catalyzing both hydrogen production than its use in fuel cells, and this without the need of platinum.​​
